The long pavilion

For the competition to design a pavilion in Kongens Have in 2013, our proposal was an attempt to create a link between the historic baroque garden and its distinct symmetric geometry with the open park landscape that makes Kongens Have the place for the people it is today. The pavilion is in a single structure on one hand a distinct geometric object positioned in the central axis of the baroque design and at the same time a transparent structure in the the scale of the open landscape. It is hard do define it as either object or landscape, furniture or architecture, construction or sculpture.

Competition, 2013, with Jonathan Meldgaard Houser
