Monument to modernism

Transparency and light are values that have been symbolic for the modern age. Through technological advancements modernism has given to humanity greater freedom and living conditions. Many people can make their own choices in life. Yet, this freedom has left us with a lack of stability, morally and mentally, as confused individuals with only our selves to lean back on. The monument to modernism consists of twenty layers of glass walls in a precise circular pattern. It is what modernism gave us: transparency, openness and a result of precise technology. But when entering, it becomes labyrinthic and leaves you in an unsettling cloud of transparency and endless reflections of yourself.
